I have the Mario 25th Anniversary edition wii!! and its RED!! my partners grandma gave us this and our regular white WII kinda as graduation gifts!! they are my partners childhood wiis (in pretty good condition too!!). we have this one on display/to use bc it looks sick. we also have the mario and lugii remotes + their sleeves we use as well!!!
continueing on from the red wii, this is just a regular white one! WII was really the only video game console i had access to growing up so it has a very special place in my heart. i love them so much. ESPCIALLY wii sports resort and JUST DANCE!!! we have i think 3-4 Just Dance games for our WII? all the older, better ones ofc!!
this is definetly the console me and my partner use the most, we have it hooked up to the TV in our living room and use it for EVERYTHING. we went halfies on the disc version of the PS5 on January 1st of 2024! so we have just now had it for a year!! it is such an upgrade from the ps4 and the graphics r life changing.
i got a PS4 as a christmas gift sometime in highschool? i had it for a couple years but one day it just froze on an update and no matter WHAT i did it just. wouldnt work. it never turned back on. and at the exact same time, my partners AND our best friends ps4's ALL STOPPED WORKING. FOR DIFFERENT REASONS. so that sucked. im very lucky my and my partner could split the price for a ps5 after months of debating.
my graduation gift to myself was a psvita 2000 in light blue and white!!!! i got it off ebay and it works perfectly. you can mod these very easily!!! i wish i played it more but it was basically the first console i ever bought myself when i was getting into them i think it is so so cool. the vita vs ds wars interest me SO MUCH.
MY MOST RECENT CONSOLE ACQUIRED!!!! my partners close friend gifted this to me this past christmas!!! she heard was i rly rly into consoles and wanted a DS and she gave me her childhood blue 3DS !!! i didnt have to pay NOTHING. even better she GAVE ME HER COPY OF TAMADACHI LIFE. FOR FREEEEE. that thing retails for like $100+. i already modded it as well!! i was more scared to mod a nintendo device but it turned out to be pretty easy once i got a new SD card and SD adapted for my PC.
i wasnt going to add this device at first bc it is my partners childhood DS lite, but she suggested it so i could!!! its so cute and weve had a lot of good memories playing on it (like when we first moved into our apartment, a fuse blew and we had no wifi or data so we just played Imagine:Babysitters on it for two hours while maintenance was there.) ANWYAYS ive obviously had access to this our whole relationship but we agreed not to mod it bc of its sentimental value and (god forbid) anything happen to it.
we have the original switch that came out in like. 2018! its old! but she works!! mostly used to play super smash or one of my gfs fav games, HADES! before we even moved in tghr i unofficially gave the switch fully to my gf so she could have her own console to play games on, and its portable obvi!! we honestly should use it more.. what are some good switch games?
