this was my first sewing project in about a year and a half, i think! my partner was redecorating her car (the theme is yaoi and like. pink) but couldn't find any pillow she rly liked online. so i offered to make her dream backseat pillow!! i dont actually know the specific type of fabric that i used to make the actual white heart part... my gf picked it out herself while i was in a different aisle. but~! it feels a lot like flannel/felt. she also picked out the colors of the letters, and i just had to cut out the shapes and sew them on! it was honestly pretty easy and fast, but i loved making it sm and i think it was a great re-entrance into sewing as a hobby. it now lives in the backseat of the fujomobile!!!!

ive followed devouthand on insta for a while now but they recently had a lil sale on their website AND i wanted to start crocheting again so i invested a bought 3 designs!! this is the first one i've done bc its pretty straight forward and i rly wanted to make a lil pillow for our couch. my partner also really loves fiona apple (she is my muse for most crafts if u cant tell already) the pattern is really only meant to be a tapestry but i just crocheted a back panel for it, all i need to do is crochet the sides together! and get the stuffing for it. i already blocked the two pieces, i cant wait to finish!! i forgot how much i love tapestry type crochet. i also love colorwork and color switching (intarsia my beloved). this pattern had aboout five differnt colors of yarn and the brand for all of them was big twist!

ok so. this guy was a surprise project that was my gf's idea bc our bff got broken up w like yday :( so we immediately started on him last night (3.24). we have both never made a felt doll like this before. but we are trying our best. she sketched out and cut all his body and clothing and hair and everything!!! while i just sewed him up. our bff bff noctis caelum more than anything so we hope this will give him a little comfort while he's going through a tough time. hopefully i'll have him finished by tn (3.25) so we can drive back to our home town tmrw and see him!

i may like making pillows a little too much. just noticed i've been making a lot of them. hm. anyways! i am in a huge adventure time kick, and got inspired by this one image i saw on pinterest!! he is still very much in his beginning stages, i havent even started sewing him yet... but. he will be made out of this nice thick flannel material that is the PERFECT shade of Jake The Dog yellow. all his little details will be felt (i do really love felt crafts..) i was rly excited to start on him though because he is going to go along the top of the couch like a little pillow for me and my gf (our apartment came furnished and the couch is. pretty uncomfortable) he is going to be really big and i do not have a sewing machine... so maybe thats why im a little intimidated right now lol.
